About Blurbs
If you are a writer, you know that writers need to read what helps them “unpack their bag.”
Interrupting work to comment on a manuscript or a galley is more than I can manage at this busy time in my life.
Please understand. Time is short and I have many books of my own to write.
As my old friend, Margaret Atwood says in her witty “Ode to No”:
“So I wish you Good Luck, and your author, and book,
Which I hope to read later, with glee.
Long may you publish, and search out the blurbs,
Though you will not get any from me.”
